The spray system is a dual operating system. I can pump water at pressure or simulate spraying with the added smoke pump. The three bladed prop turns at 6,500 RPM when the engine is turning around 7,000 RPM. It will drive the pump with ease if using water. The valve assembly mounted under the fuselage is a home built valve. The front hub housing is a drive unit that came out of my wife’s bread machine. The rear part is an old carburetor from a chain saw. I machined the two parts to fit together using gaskets for a sure seal. Adding a servo allows flow from exhaust to the boom. As the valve opens to the Boom the smoke pump is activated, valve switches to exhaust smoke pump is deactivated.

The front shocks are spring loaded they keep the landing gear from spreading to wide under heavy loads or harsh landings. The springs actually push and pull at the same time. They were quite simple to build, work very well and no special machining was required.

All in all this has been a fun project. The kit is well built and went together nicely. I highly recommend this kit from RCGUYS to anyone wanting the thrill of crop dusting and a good all around solid airplane.

I will be doing some pre - flights once the weather cooperates and will take some video of the plane in action.
